Privacy & cookies
This notice explains how information is handled on the Sin Fronteras festival website. LaPecosa Industry LLC operates this website and is the festival’s lead production company. For privacy questions and requests, contact contactus@lapecosaindustry.com.
Applications and inquiries
When you apply to Blind Dates, we receive your name, email address, artistic role, working-language preference, optional information and PDF resume. We use this information to review applications, organize participation and communicate with you. The core festival production team can access resumes. We may keep resumes on file for future festival use and will delete them upon request. We retain application details, including Blind Dates and monologue applications, for future festival planning and contact. Future festival invitations and opportunity emails require your separate optional permission on the application form. Leaving it unchecked does not affect your application. Earlier applications are not automatically treated as permission for future contact.
The monologue application asks for organization and contact details, a proposed performer, performance language, monologue information and optional notes. Sponsorship inquiries ask for organization and contact details, sponsorship interests and a message. We use these details to respond to and manage the relevant application or inquiry.
These forms use Resend to deliver submissions to the festival inbox at sinfronteras@lapecosaindustry.com. Application details and uploaded resumes are also organized in Google Sheets and a restricted Google Drive folder accessible to the designated core festival production team. Sending a form does not require you to allow analytics or marketing cookies. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your application or inquiry.
Hosting and site preferences
The website is hosted through Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and delivery involve technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details. Staff sign-in and content administration use separate access controls and administrative records.
Your language preference is stored in this browser until it is changed or cleared. We remember your cookie choices for up to 180 days using local storage, after which you can choose again. Browser settings may clear this information sooner. We do not send your cookie preference record to a separate consent service.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics helps us understand website visits and usage, including ticket-link clicks, completed applications and inquiries, scrolling, supported video engagement and public file downloads. It can receive pages and interactions, browser/device information and cookie identifiers. Analytics is kept off until you allow it. Advertising signals are disabled in our analytics integration. The property retains event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with the user period reset by new activity; these controls do not apply to most aggregated standard reports.
Optional Meta advertising measurement
If you allow marketing, we use Meta Pixel to measure visits across public pages, completed applications and sponsorship inquiries, and ticket-link clicks and to understand the effectiveness of our advertising. Meta receives event information together with technical information such as IP address, browser/device details and cookie identifiers. Meta may associate this information with your Facebook or Instagram account and use it under its Privacy Policy.
Our Meta integration sends page-visit, successful-application/inquiry and ticket-link-click events. A ticket click is not a purchase. The Pixel can receive the page URL, referrer and standard campaign identifiers. We skip measurement on unreviewed routes and URLs or referrers with unsupported parameters. We do not add application answers, names, email addresses, resume contents or filenames to those events. Automatic configuration, automatic history tracking and advanced-matching data are not enabled by our code.
Maps, donations and ticket providers
Google Maps and Zeffy donation forms load automatically on pages that include them. Loading either connects your browser to that provider, which may receive technical information and use its own storage or cookies. You can also use the direct map or donation link instead.
Donations are handled through Zeffy for ID Studio Theater, the festival’s presenting partner and fiscal sponsor. Ticket links may take you to Eventbrite, The Tank or its ticketing provider. Information you provide on those services, including payment information, is handled under their own terms and privacy notices.
Your choices and requests
Optional analytics and marketing start off. You can reject them separately, reject both, or change your choices at any time using Cookie settings. Your browser’s Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal keeps optional tracking off. You can still use the site and submit an application.
Withdrawal stops future optional tracking on this browser; it does not recall information already shared. We clear the first-party analytics or Meta cookies used by the integration when you turn off the respective category. Other providers’ pages and storage are controlled separately.
Contact us with questions about access, correction, deletion or retention of your information. Rights and any limits on a request depend on your circumstances and applicable law. You can withdraw permission for future festival emails or request deletion by contacting us. Contact us about correspondence and provider records; these may be subject to separate operational or legal retention requirements.
